Join the LGBT Community, faith leaders, behavioral health practitioners, Labor, conversion therapy survivors, and our California elected officials as we unite our voices in opposition to conversion therapy and this conference coming to America’s Finest City.
On June 15-17, the largest convention of gay conversion proponents, The Restored Hope Network, will be in San Diego. Gay conversion therapy, which attempts to turn LGBTQ adults and youth straight, is an abusive, traumatic and ineffective practice, which is not supported by any mainstream psychological associations. It is rooted in the deeply harmful and erroneous idea that LGBTQ people can and should be “cured”.
