Saving electricity

Happy September in San Diego! It's supposed to be 100 degrees today outside of my office today in Poway. I wanted to send out the word that today

I'm trying to do my part in saving our beautiful earth by reducing my impact on our electrical grid today.

Some SDG&E's Commercial accounts received a notice that our electricity rates would be

400%

of what they usually are from 11am to 6pm today.

To lower my impact both environmentally and economically, I am reducing the use of my air conditioning and electric light today.

Although I am reducing my usage, I will be using my air-conditioning system to regulate the temperature as needed so rest assured if you were to come to my office today or on any "Reduce your use" day,

I will do my best to ensure that your time at my office is comfortable.

Please do let me know if you feel too warm during your time here. I will work within my power to cool my office suite to an appropriate and safe temperature.

Your comfort is very important to me.
